AIIAS welcomed distinguished representatives from the General Conference and SunPlus on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, under the leadership of Sir Paul H. Douglas, General Conference Treasurer. The delegation included Eugene Korff, Controller of the General Conference, and Markus Musa Dangana, Treasurer for the West-Central Africa Division. George Egwakhe, former AIIAS VP for Finance also joined the visit, reconnecting with colleagues and reminiscing about his tenure at the institution.
The day began at the AIIAS administration building, where the delegation engaged in discussions with current staff members, reflecting on their past roles and the evolution of administrative practices at AIIAS.
Afterward, the group explored the AIIAS Leslie Hardinge Library, where Sir Paul Douglas and others tried the coloring corner, visited the writing corner, and interacted with exhibits in the E G White Branch Office. They then visited AIIAS Academy, participating in activities like ping-pong and observing classes.

On their way back, passing by the Bell Tower, George Egwakhe praised, “AIIAS has a truly beautiful campus landscape,” capturing the scenery on his phone.
“The visitors were captivated by the campus’s stunning landscape, facilities, hospitality, community, and educational offerings during their insightful visit,” concluded Sir Robert Benjamin, reflecting on his close discussions with the visitors.
