On October 20 – 21, 2014, 216 professionals gathered for the 15th AIIAS International Conference on Business, Education, and Public Health themed “Connectedness: Human Relations, Learning, and Wellness.” The presenters included internationally-known scholars, faculty members from AIIAS, and graduate students. Dr. James Tucker from University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and Dr. Jimmy Kijai from Andrews University graced the occasion as the keynote speakers.
During the two-day conference, connections were established and networking was facilitated. The cultural program, international food fair, raffle, and the poster session activity of AIIAS graduate students were just but some of the highlights of the conference
The two-day conference was indeed packed with informative and practical presentations for educators and professionals and it was a success. The delegates were impressed with the interesting topics presented during the conference and some of them have expressed their appreciation of the beauty of the AIIAS campus.
“My thinking was challenged, stimulated, and new thought patterns established—a lot for a two-day conference,” said Dr. William Green, Dean of the Graduate School at AIIAS.
