AIIAS welcomes a big number of new students for the Second Semester’s Term A.
“Over forty new students have come to study on campus,” announced Dr. Dolf Oberholster, Vice President of Academic Administration, as he invited the new students to stand during chapel convocation at the AIIAS Amphitheater on October 17, 2016.
The new students have come from different countries namely Angola, Brazil, China, Ethiopia, South Korea, Mexico, Myanmar, Rwanda, and Trinidad and Tobago. Also, we have joining the AIIAS community is the very first student coming from Cuba.
The majority of the new students are from China. “We know that there’s a great work to be done in China. So, it’s exciting when we are part of that work,” said Dr. Oberholster.
Among those are students from the Central Luzon Conference, Philippines, who have enrolled in the cohort based Master of Ministry program.
Aurelio Paulino, a new student from Angola said, “AIIAS is a training place where I see that dreams can be fulfilled for the glory of God. I chose AIIAS to be trained by consecrated workers… in order to serve Him in His ministry.”
The mission of AIIAS is to develop leaders through distinctively Seventh-day Adventist graduate education, excelling in spirituality, scholarship, and service.
“Thank you for choosing to study at AIIAS,” says Dr. Bryan Sumendap, AIIAS Vice President for Student Services. “We hope that all throughout the duration of your stay here, you will grow. Not only academically, but also with a heart dedicated for mission.”
The Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies (AIIAS) is a General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists institution that offers exclusively postgraduate education in four main areas: business, education, public health, and religion.
