Dr. Kepha Pondi accepted the call to move to Pacific Adventist University (PAU) in Papua New Guinea at the end of May 2023.
Pondi served as the treasurer for the Central Kenya Conference and the East Africa Union and as the deputy vice chancellor for financial administration at the Adventist University of Africa. He worked as a research supervisor in the GCAS Global Financial Survey before coming to AIIAS as a student in the PhD in Business program, graduating in 2018.
Pondi has served as the research methodologist and director of the Asia Pacific Research Center since 2019. He also taught several courses in finance as a faculty member for the business department.
Kepha is married to Ruth Ouso Pondi, an alumna of the AIIAS Master of Public Health program. She worked as the assistant for educational effectiveness until 2022. In their new mission field, Kepha serves as the senior lecturer in the School of Business at PAU.
Colleagues and students alike have deeply appreciated his outstanding contributions as a teacher, methodologist, support, and guide to students in their dissertation work. The Pondis will be greatly missed on the AIIAS campus. We wish them God’s blessings and protection as they transition to their new place of service and leadership.
