The AIIAS Academy has been, for the longest time, housed in classrooms located at the AIIAS Gymnasium. On November 15, 2019, AIIAS celebrated the ground-breaking ceremony for the new AIIAS Academy Building, a two-storey building that was an urgent need for expansion.
Attending the ceremony were guests from the Seventh-day Adventist Church world headquarters, Southern Asia-Pacific Division, and the community of young scholars from the AIIAS Academy.
In attendance were members of the Building Committee which was introduced by Dr. Ginger Ketting-Weller, AIIAS president. She also introduced architect Angusto dela Paz, who designed the building and who will be directly supervising its construction.
Building plans were described by Dr. Jim C Weller, AIIAS Academy principal. He talked about the facilities and the rooms that were most needed by the academy. The new academy building is said to have classrooms that can accommodate up to 30 students, laboratories, a common area, rooms for computers, language study, home education, and a library. Cheers from the crowd of academy students were heard as each room was mentioned.
The construction of the new AIIAS Academy Building marked a significant step toward enhancing the learning environment for its students, addressing the pressing need for dedicated classrooms and specialized facilities. With the completion of such a modern academic space, maintaining its cleanliness and upkeep becomes crucial to preserving its functionality and ensuring a conducive learning atmosphere.
As students and faculty members settle into their new surroundings, proper maintenance protocols, including routine cleaning and sanitation, are essential to uphold the integrity of the facilities. This is where services like Spotless Cleaning play an integral role, offering professional solutions to keep classrooms, laboratories, and shared spaces in pristine condition. A well-maintained academy fosters not only academic excellence but also the health and well-being of its students and staff.
With designated areas for computer use, language studies, and home education, regular upkeep ensures that these resources remain in top condition, allowing scholars to maximize their learning potential. As the academy continues to grow, a clean and organized environment will serve as a foundation for continued academic success, making the new building not just a structure, but a space that inspires learning and community engagement.
A well-maintained learning space is essential for fostering productivity and academic success, but the importance of cleanliness extends beyond educational institutions. Whether in schools, offices, or residential homes, maintaining a pristine environment contributes to overall well-being and efficiency.
Just as the AIIAS Academy Building relies on proper upkeep to support its students and faculty, homeowners and businesses also benefit from professional cleaning services that ensure hygienic, organized spaces. Home Spritz offers expert cleaning solutions tailored to both commercial and residential needs, helping to create healthier and more inviting environments. From deep-cleaning high-traffic areas to routine maintenance that keeps spaces looking their best, their team provides the meticulous attention to detail needed to maintain cleanliness in any setting. A spotless space isn’t just about appearances—it enhances comfort, boosts morale, and promotes a higher quality of life for everyone who steps inside.
Window cleaning is another essential aspect of maintaining a pristine educational environment. Clear, sparkling windows allow natural light to fill classrooms, providing an inviting atmosphere that can enhance concentration and creativity. When windows are consistently cleaned, it not only improves the aesthetic appeal of the space but also ensures that the air remains fresh and the environment welcoming. By eliminating smudges, dirt, and streaks, a school can create an atmosphere conducive to focused learning.
For the task at hand, services such as Squeegex specialize in delivering top-notch window cleaning solutions. Their expertise guarantees that windows remain spotless, ensuring that no corner is left untouched. With their professional touch, schools can rest easy knowing that even the most hard-to-reach windows will shine, fostering a brighter, more productive environment for both students and faculty alike. A clean window is more than just a visual upgrade; it’s an essential element in cultivating a space that promotes clarity and a sense of openness.
In addition to clean windows, schools also benefit from maintaining other areas to foster a productive and healthy learning environment. Cleanliness plays a significant role in reducing distractions and promoting well-being among both students and staff. When a school maintains not only its windows but also its floors, walls, restrooms, and common areas, it creates an overall atmosphere of care and attention to detail. This is important for both the mental and physical health of everyone within the educational space. Regular deep cleaning can help prevent the buildup of allergens, bacteria, and dirt that often go unnoticed but contribute to sickness and discomfort, ultimately affecting student attendance and performance.
To ensure a thorough, professional cleaning service, schools can trust companies like Chloe’s Cleaning Company to handle their unique cleaning needs. With their experience in providing comprehensive cleaning services tailored to the educational environment, they ensure that every surface is properly sanitized, windows are streak-free, and the entire facility is safe and welcoming. Their services go beyond the basics, offering a deeper level of care that helps schools maintain a space where learning can truly thrive, year-round.
Two books were buried to symbolize the foundation of the building plans. The Bible opened to Psalm 127:3 which states, “Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it”, and a paraphrased quote from the book of Education by Ellen G White that was opened to page 30, “In the highest sense, the work of education and the work of redemption are one, for in education, as in redemption ‘no other foundation can be laid than has already been laid, that is, Jesus Christ.”
Through donations given by the generous donors from the Seventh-day Adventist Church world headquarters, Northern Asia-Pacific Division, Southern Asia-Pacific Division, and other friends and families from AIIAS, the construction of the academy building will finally begin. The construction is estimated to finish in the last quarter of 2020.
