AIIAS is pleased to announce the new Vice President for Finance, Jorge Montero. He is from Peru and has worked in higher education financing for more than 10 years and served as VPF for more than 5 years.
Mr. Montero has served as a union treasurer and associate division treasurer and comes with very high recommendations. He has an MBA and is working on a doctoral degree. His wife, Dolores, is a nurse and they have two children, 11 and 13 years old.
“We are delighted that he will be joining AIIAS around graduation time in March of 2016,” says AIIAS President, Dr. Stephen Guptill. “Thank you for your prayers for our search process. I believe that God has answered our prayers as we considered almost 40 names for this position.”
Mr. Montero is taking the place of Mr. German Lust who is now serving in the Northern Asia-Pacific Division of Seventh-day Adventists.
