The 20th AIIAS Annual Theological Forum, a 3-day event that joins the celebration of the 500 years of the Christian Reformation with the theme “The Protestant Reformation in Global Context”.
A group of about 250 scholars, ministers, pastors, and theologians gather at AIIAS to study and understand the impact of the Western Christian Church history in the Christian religion and faith.
Participants, from within the AIIAS Theological Seminary and professors/authors from all over the world with different expertise in the field of religion, have come to enlighten the participants with presentation rooted on the subject of Protestant Reformation.
The guest lecturers of the conference were: Alberto R. Timm, associate director of the Ellen G. White Estate; Clinton Wahlen, associate director of the Biblical Research Institute; Lisa Diller, history lecturer at Southern Adventist University, Tennessee; Martin Lohrmann, pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in the United States and assistant professor of Lutheran Confessions and Heritage at Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa; Michael Sokupa, associate director of the Ellen White Estate; Dennis Pettibone, professor emeritus of History at Southern Adventist University; and Nikolaus Satelmajer, a retired worker of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
The daily plenary and breakout sessions took place on November 9 to 11, 2017 at the AIIAS Amphitheater and Auditorium and was led by professors and students from the AIIAS Theological Seminary.
The 21st Annual Theological Forum which will be focused on “Making Disciples for Jesus” will take place in November 8-10, 2018.
